📝 Paper Submission Guidelines

We invite paper submissions that represent the state of the art in political science and that focus on any substantive area of politics. Conference presentations are organized by topic into broad tracks. As always, we expect tenured participants to contribute to the success of the conference by serving as chairs or discussants. Proposals for pre-organized panels are also welcome.

For pre-organised panel submissions, make sure that all proposals are submitted to the same “track” and add a panel abbreviation to the paper title. Note that we evaluate paper proposals without attention to whether they are part of a pre-organized panel.

For all additional emails and enquiries, please contact Matthew Shaikh at conference@eps-academic.org

Important Info about EPSA

The European Political Science Association (EPSA) was founded in 2009 by Ken Benoit, Ray Duch, and Thomas Plümper. The founders' goal was to promote Europe as a global leader in political science by forming an association of European scholars that would advance the scientific study of politics. Over the past two decades EPSA prides itself in having attained the founders' initial goals: The association has played an important role in fostering the careers of thousands of European political scientists. EPSA's annual conferences provides a unique venue for showcasing the leading-edge social science produced by Europe's outstanding scholars. EPSA conferences are enthusiastic and collegial scientific events that have made an important contribution to the rapidly growing numbers of world-class European social scientists. As part of our commitment to nurturing European political science, the three founders created a journal, Political Science Research and Methods. Over a very short period, the journal, published by the Cambridge University Press, has become one of the top ranked journals in political science.

The three founders established a privately held, Irish-registered company, EPS Academic Ltd, as the vehicle for launching this new association and for creating PSRM. As the EPSA constitution indicates, EPSA is registered to EPS Academic Ltd.

Membership in EPSA does not equate with membership in EPS Academic, Ltd. Members of EPSA and registered conference participants should obtain their own tax advice on membership of EPSA, reclaiming conference expenses, etc. Members or interested parties who would like further information are encouraged to e-mail EPSA at info@eps-academic.org.
